I’m already on some promo mailing list, why do I need CD Pool?

No one promo company get’s everything and we pride ourselves in the amount of exclusive content we provide on our various CD’s as well as key upfront tunes.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No! We believe our CD’s are valuable to DJ’s and therefore they are free to join for one month or many years. The fact is that we still have members that received the very first CD Pool CD back in September 1994 and who have been with us ever since.

Do you send CD Pool CD’s to the USA and Canada?

No, our licence enables us to send CD’s to DJ’s who are resident in Europe. However, we compile two CD’s for sale in North America for our friends at Promo Only. DJ’s can purchase UK Club & UK Underground at www.promoonly.com.

I just DJ once a week, can I still join CD Pool?

Yes of course. CD Pool membership is open to all Bona Fide DJ’s who live in Europe.

I live in Germany, Can I receive CD’s?

Yes, as long as you are a DJ and live in Europe, you can receive our CD’s.

How do I know the tracks on CD Pool and genuine and legal?

CD Pool has been supplying DJ’s with quality CD’s since 1994. We are licensed by UK music organising bodies PPL  www.ppluk.co.uk and PRS for Music  www.prsformusic.com  We pay royalties to these two bodies on all of the repetoire they represent and so you can be sure that the composers and performers are receiving income from our CD’s.

Do I need a licence to DJ?

Every country has a different set of licensing laws. In the UK there is, after many years a joint DJ licence which has been developed by MCPS/PRS and PPL and can be purchased from either of these organisations. DJ’s in other countries should check with their local licensing authorities.

Can I buy Music Video’s from CD Pool?

No, music video’s on high quality DVD can be purchased from Promo Only at www.promoonly.co.uk

I’ve made an online order, when will my CD’s arrive?

If you ordered your CD by calling the office or by shopping online we mail your CD’s first class or by airmail if overseas by 4pm the same day or the next working day if after 4pm.

When will you take payment for my monthly CD’s?

When you join CD Pool, we take payment for your CD’s at the end of the month, on the 25th for Direct Debit payments and the 27th/28th for credit/debit cards. Your CD’s sent during the first week of the following month.

Can I download the tracks on CD Pool?

No, but we will shortly be introducing a download facility on the CD Pool site.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay online or via subscription by direct debit (UK Only) and using a debit card, credit card and charge card. You can also pay using PayPal. In addition, UK members can pay using a cheque or postal order. You can also pay by bank transfer (on annual subscriptions only).
